2022-08-17

Centrifuge tubes are widely applied in the fields of life science and clinical study. But have you ever wondered its origin and history of development? In 1963, the first micro centrifuge tubes came into the world in Eppendorf in Germany, providing a new tool for research operations of micro volume. In the light of its extraordinary significance, scientists entitled it Eppendorf Tube, i.e.EP Tube. Since its birth, centrifuge tubes of various specifications have sprung up worldwide. (Pic. 1)

Now, NEST has even designed and developed the Closed System of Centrifuge Tubes to avoid the sample contamination problem if it needs to add solution into the tube or taking the sample from it.

This newly launched closed system possesses three excellent features.

Feature One : pre-installed with a TPE tube
The risk of contamination is largely lowered and even the subsequent cleanness validation resulted from the previous mistake is avoided.

Feature Two: male taper is available at the connector.
The end of Liquid Transfer Tube is connected to the male taper with a Luer cap, which reduces the unexpected disconnection during operation.

Feature Three:Double package and E-beam sterilization
The kit is in double-layer packaging which has experienced E-beam sterilization,SAL=10-6. before delivery.
